Oral Habit Elimination
Oral Habits
Thumb/Finger sucking can begin in the womb and normal to see in the first few years of children’s life, naturally stopping on their own. If thumb/finger sucking continue past the age of 3, it can have a negative impact on their jaw shape, teeth position, tongue placement, breathing, and speech development. Any oral habit (pacifier, bottle, sippy cup, nail biting, thumb/finger sucking, lip licking/biting) can have a negative impact.
At MyoBalance, we are here to help your child quit negative oral habits in a fun, easy and rewarding way without the use of invasive appliances. With support, guidance and interactive proven strategies, we can help your child stop their habit.
Children as young as 4 years of age can benefit from the Oral Habit Elimination Program.
